A cold wind blows
Through my uncovered toes

A cold snot flows
Out my uncovered nose

Mup-Gup and the Cup

The yellow sun rose up, up
Over the young pup,

Named Mup-Gup
What a lovely day
Wouldn't you say?

Said the pup, Mup-Gup
To the animated teacup

"Toot, toot"
Replied the cup

"Oh, shut up, teacup!"
Yelled Mup-Gup with a vengance.

"Toot, toot" said the cup
A tear streaming down
His porcilen crown

The end

I think violence in America needs to stop Mup-Gup was wrong for reprimanding the teacup. This is my tribute.

I bet you didn't know that this poem was about immigration. Just something to think about. And that is the beauty of poetry. If you listen closely, you can catch the subliminal messages.

My First Post

Well, I have never had a blog before and I guess I am supposed to tell you a little about the things I am doing right now with my writing. I am currently involved in writing a Sci-Fi western that I hope will get publish sometime in the near future. It can be pretty hard to get published in today's economy but I hope to do it. I have written other works that have come close to getting published but didn't quite make it. My goal is to get publish and show to the world that I can do this.
